
Roman Gomez is an Argentinian multi-instrumentalist whose music fuses South American roots with contemporary forms. Based in Lucerne, he performs internationally and is currently engaged in Varieté Kaleidoskop, Rombeo Duet with Pablo Contestabile, the album Gente del Sur, and new works with Rotraut Jäger, Maria Manousaki, and Gilad Atzmon. He has collaborated with Daniele Sepe, Tanghetto, Marios Strofalis, Yiannis Hadjiloizou, Marco Sinopoli, Simone Sassu, Nono Garcia, Tito Alcedo, Alfredo Paixão, Lucio Dalla, and projects with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
His compositions have been performed by soloists of the Perm’ Opera and Ballet Orchestra, the Athens Philharmonia, and Cyprus orchestras. He has appeared at Megaron Concert Hall, Villa Ada, the Herodeion at the Acropolis, Porto Palermo, and Tecnopolis Jazz Festival, and recorded at top studios including Abbey Road, Millenium, and Sierra Studios.
